Des Femmes started with a DAO experiment using a venture mentality, meaning we both produce content and support community members in building a variety of mission-aligned projects. We are betting that an open source ethos benefits both creators and audiences alike, encouraging more symbiotic relationships.

  We garnered roughly 450 applications for the 2022 mentorship program and ended up with 41 mentee graduates, in addition to 17 mentor graduates. Program graduates included developers from Kenya, Nigeria, Colombia, India, Greece, France, Germany, the UK, US and Canada. We had more than triple the rate of women graduates, compared to other Chaincode Labs programs. With so many great submissions to choose from, it was hard to pick just a few bounty program winners. We selected a total of 9 mentorship program bounty winners, including Keyue Bao who submitted a peer review (PR) exercise that knocked our socks off, Induja Shankar for her c-Lightning node experiment, Ana Sosa for her bitcoin payments essay, plus both **Sahiti Reddy P.** and Erin Lyman for their insightful reflection essays, just to name a few. 🎉
