🚀 Mission

Des Femmes is a community-driven media project that published two print magazines in 2021 and 2022, and now continues to leverage a variety of software tools to increase the power of the young women through more wealth and, therefore, more freedom of choice.

The founding members of Des Femmes include:

• Editor-in-Chief at Des Femmes LLC, Leigh Cuen, a creator focused on women and digital money with bylines at Teen Vogue, TechCrunch, Vice, Playboy, Mic and Business Insider, among others

• Art Director and Des Femmes DAO Secretary Jaye Harrill, communications manager at the blockchain startup Quantstamp Inc

• Head of E-commerce and Digital Marketing at Des Femmes LLC, Suki Cheung, independent crypto marketing strategist for global exchanges and crypto start-ups

• Newsletter editor Allie Ruiz, co-founder of RKO Tax, a high-touch tax advisory firm for crypto-native individuals

• Advisor Camila Russo, founder of The Defiant, the world’s most widely read DeFi-focused publication

• Advisor Lindsay Lin, partner and counsel at Dragonfly Capital

• Advisor Kinjal Shah, senior associate at Blockchain Capital, co-founder of the Komorebi Collective, the first decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for investing in women-led startups

👨 Mensch Supporters

Although our leadership are all women, we work with a variety of male freelancers and men make up roughly 15% of our community, including paying members (who join both IRL and virtual events, including mentorship programs), and financial supporters. We are building a professional network that empowers young women to become leaders and innovators in traditionally male-dominated fields. We accomplish this by helping young women meet like-minded mentors and colleagues, both online and at in-person events, plus highlighting their successes with our media projects.
